...to Geog 353 Main Page and Course Description Last Update: 11/7/09 The core of Geography 353 is the laboratory project: students will locate relevant data, clean up and process the data so it can be mapped in ArcGIS (GIS and mapping software), and design and produce a series of maps based on the data. Students will learn to construct HTML pages, containing the project maps, which will be placed on the WWW. A Fall 2009 date on a lab means the lab has been updated for the current semester.

Also, please request a code from Krygier to get after-hours access to the GIS lab. The Science Center is open Monday through Friday from 7am - 9pm, swipe card access until 12 midnight, Saturday 8am to 6pm, and Sunday 9am to 12 midnight. You may be asked to leave the building if you are here outside of those hours. The GIS Lab door is open 7am until 7pm, Monday-Friday.
